2 Special Events Coming in 2012
In 2012, Mustang Week & Mopar Week will both be invading the Myrtle Beach area for week long events. The NEW Quick 8 Outlaws for 2012
(11-16-2011) Columbia, SC – After several successful racing seasons the Quick 8 Outlaws Powerglide Pro Mod "club" will be no more. But, does that mean the Quick 8 Outlaws are done racing? The answer is no. With seven races already booked for the 2012 season, including at the legendary Darlington Dragway, the future for the Quick 8 Outlaws is very promising.
On Saturday, November 12th after the final awards banquet it was announced that the Quick 8 Outlaws will be back in 2012. Not only will they be back, they have made several changes. Read more...

| Dixie Outlaw Doorslammers 4.40 Index
With the 2012 season right around the corner, it's time to get ready. The Dixie Outlaws are going to be racing at the legendary Darlington Dragway. There are several races scheduled for the 2012 season including having the season finale at this years 2-Day Palmetto Nationals / IHRA Ironman Classic.

The Hennessey Hammer Wagon visits Darlington Dragway
During one of our February Grudge TNT - Gamblers Race events, John Hennessey sent a crew of people to the legendary Darlington Dragway with his little toy to see what it would do for Automobile Magazine. Check out this 2011 Cadillac CTSV Hennessey Hammer Wagon. Putting out around 700 horsepower at the rear wheels, this Caddy was burning down the 1/4 mile. As the sunset & the air got cooler, this machine got hotter.
How fast you ask? Wish we could tell you. The Hennessey staff said if you were there, you would know. You can pickup a copy of Automobile Magazine in a couple months to read all about this street monster. You will be amazed.
