This Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the legendary Darlington Dragway, there will be a film crew visiting our race facility filming a documentary on the history of the legendary track. Please come join us this Saturday to be part of this special event.
For almost 40 years, the legendary Darlington Dragway has hosted numerous drag racing events from IHRA Summit Super Series points races to the Winter Nationals event that featured drag racing legends such as "Big Daddy" Don Garlits, "The Bud King" Kenny Bernstein, John Force & many others.
Starting in 2012, Darlington Dragway has new ownership at the reigns. This news brings a new chapter to the track & some exciting events to our racers and spectators. This seasons schedule features Grudge TNT - Gamblers Race event every Wednesday & Saturday, 16 IHRA Summit Super Series points races, Labor Day weekend IHRA Pro-am event, Saturday Night Thunder event this Summer, Quick 8 Outlaw & Dixie Outlaw Doorslammer Pro Mod events, East Coast Grudge event, Mustang Week Shootout, Mopar Week Shootout, the Palmetto Nationals / IHRA Ironman Classic, Pure Power Performance Grudge Fest Bike Tour event and many more. The legendary Darlington Dragway stresses safety & enforces all IHRA rules & requirements. Visiting our tech inspection building, located pit side of the dragstrip, is essential and required for all racers & crew members that are participating in any of our test and tune & race events here at Darlington Dragway. This is for your safety & the safety of your fellow racers, spectators and staff members. The tech inspection area also offers helmet rentals & VP racing fuels.

| Andy Fain Takes Gamblers Race at Darlington Dragway
Congratulation to driver Andy Fain on winning the Gamblers Race at the legendary Darlington Dragway on February 18, 2012 during the Grudge TNT - Gamblers Race event. Andy Farn holds off Linda Richardson in the final round, winner takes all. Great job to both of the drivers.

| Chris Tuten lights it up at Darlington Dragway
Chris Tuten shows the crowd at the legendary Darlington Dragway just how well the track is hooking and holding up in early 2012. In his Ford Mustang, Chris Tuten turned a track blistering 7.02 at over 200+ MPH during our Saturday's Grudge TNT - Gamblers Race event. That's in February with sub 50 degree temperatures.

You have 2 ways you can join the 2012 IHRA Summit Super Series points program at Darlington Dragway. You can meet with Wanda Weikel, Track Points Director for Darlington Dragway, any Saturday during the months of January or February, before or after any of the Grudge TNT - Gamblers Race event to register.
